My exhibition opened this week in the Czech Culture Center of Prague.
I'm back in the studio after an exciting week of setting up the exhibition.
Here are some photos.
The entrance to the gallery featuring originals of 'old classics' alongside of some newer versions.
Prints of additional portraits.
I am specially excited about the site specific interactive installation.
The idea was to create a space in which shapes on the wall can be activated by attaching objects which were laying on the floor.
Visitors were given 'glueing tack' and were encouraged to make creatures on the wall.
This is the way the exhibition looked once it was ready to start. It took one minute until somebody attached something to the wall and eerything started changing!
People got into it really quickly.
Even 'the suits' worked.
Of course the children worked as well.
The next day it looked like this..
and like that.
The installation will keep changing until the end of the summer.
Thanks to Radka and Jolanna and all the people at The Czech Center for having been so supportive, to Shachar Shelef, deputy Ambassador of Israel to The Czech Republic for his support and enthusiasm as well, to Ilan Schwartz, Janet Stein and Ana Piven for the great help putting the show together.
Some of these great pictures were shot by Maria Procházková. Thanks Maria for the images.
