Every now and then I get an invitation that excites me above all others. Such was the invitation from two teachers (a Muslim from East Jerusalem and a Jewish Israeli) to visit the bilengual kindergarten in Jerusalem.

Workshop at School of VIsual Arts NYC

Every now and then when I arrive to New York I get the chance to teach at my Alma Matter, The School of Visual Arts. Richard Wilde who has been the chair of the Advertising and Graphic Design department for over 45 years, and one of my mentors, invites me to lecture to his class of Sophomores and conduct a Saturday workshop with them.

Academic Paper about Visit to Omaha

A couple of years ago I had the pleasure of spending a week in Omaha, Nebraska, invited by Dr Susan McWilliams from the University of Nebraska in conjunction with the Omaha Family Literacy Partnership. During that week I taught over 1000 students and met many teachers who participated in my workshops as well. One of the highlights of the visit was a workshop we conducted with migrant Mexican families.
